Invest in what is priceless.

I thank God today that who I am is a product of someone’s investment in me.

A friend of mine named Ryan, once urged me to not waste my time worrying about things that don’t matter. Instead, he told me to use my time to invest not in stock, not in real estate, but in people.

As I reflected, I found it easy to recall the life changing influences that molded me and I began to realized how truly grateful I am for those people. Someone saw something in me, that I couldn’t see in myself. Not only did they see something special, but they chose to do something about it. They chose to take a chance on me. If only they knew…because of their giving, I am now compelled to invest in hopes that someone may be blessed–just like I was.

I urge you, whoever you are, find someone who could use someone just like you. Invest in people. People are unique, and what you could be to someone who needs you is nothing but priceless.

God Bless,

  1. Mother Theresa said, “If you can’t feed 100 people, feed just one.” Dr. Martin Luther King said, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
I modify that to mean: If you can’t motivate, inspire and help thousands, try to motivate, inspire, and help hundreds, if you can’t do that motivate, inspire, and help many, if you can’t do that, help motivate and inspire just one. One drop in a pond has many ripples. Together we can keep moving forward, one investment at a time. 🙂

  2. A public declaration about the necessity of investing in people, well done! Not many people would share this view nowadays, everybody keeps investing in material things. This post should make everyone think about their choices and about the value of people.
