When you stand alone.

At one time or another, I’m sure we can recall an instance where you were all on your own. It could be an occasion where you didn’t back into peer pressure, or decided to stand on the side of righteousness when you knew injustice was being committed. Regardless, you were there to stand up for something…and you did it all by yourself.

Firstly, congratulations because what that means is that you were able to face an issue head on and still stand through it, alone. It amazes me how so many people fear having to face trials alone that they fail to realize that most of their problems are ones that they can handle without any assistance whatsoever! It’s like an airplane being afraid to fly.

In actuality, your character doesn’t shine when you are in a crowded room with people who are all chanting the same thing. It shines when it’s just you and you alone, but you still choose to fight for what is right.

In a world full of people who “blend in”, it needs you to stand up and stand out! Don’t be so quick to fall in line, but be eager to be a light even when it’s only you facing the darkness. You test your own character when you stand alone! Always remember that just because you may stand alone, doesn’t mean that you’ll always be alone…

Sooner or later, the strength you possess will cause other to notice, and one by one they will step back into the light because of your leadership–when you decided to stand alone against darkness.

  1. I love spending time alone and trying things on my own first. I think it shows a lot of strength in character if you are not constantly relying on someone else to deal with YOUR problems on your behalf šŸ™‚ Thanks for the post .
